Baking Toys

This Christmas, I received some great baking toys.

First, a beautiful cook book by Rose Levy Beranbaum, "Rose's Heavenly Cakes."

This book is full of awesome recipes that I cannot wait to share with you.

Next, a baking scale.

This I'm very excited about using, because I've wanted to measure ingredients more accurately for baking.

Lastly, an electric cookie press.

This might look like a unitasker, but it does more than press cookies.  This can also ice cakes!  I'm very excited about using this.  It will result in less waste when I ice cakes, and it's dishwasher safe!

While I was in Florida my lovely sister, Nyssa showed me some vegan baking.  I've eaten her vegan baked goods, and they are fantastic!  I'll show you some of her baking demonstrations in a later blog post.  I was so inspired by my sister's baking, I decided to get a few of the books she has, both vegan and non vegan.
